"Hazaaron khwahishen aisi ke har khwahish pe dam nikle Bahut niklay mere armaan, lekin phir bhi kam nikle”—Mirza Ghalib [English Translation:
Thousands of aspirations, each worth dying for Many of them I have realised, yet I yearn for more…]
There are two very distinct sides to me—the research oriented, analytical side and the dreamy, creative side. After completing my MBA, I spent over 15 years in leadership positions globally with organizations such as Accenture, Novartis etc. While my corporate career was nourishing the "rigorous, logical, structured" me, the artist in me was languishing.
I am slowly transitioning to bring balance into my life. On the one hand I am pursuing research; on the other I am writing poetry, creating pictures, designing and building homes. With my insatiable curiosity (especially in the workings of the human mind), and gift to connect dots/see patterns, I try to help people, places and organizations be the best they can.
Research helps me make sense of life and its inexplicable mysteries; study the boundless nature of human potential and its stumbling blocks—our capacity for greatness, and our inner conflicts that inhibit us. My corporate work has equipped me to contribute towards the creation of high-performance organizations and more empathetic, inclusive leaders. My writing, pictures enable me to explore and share not only facets of human nature (including vagaries, foibles!), but also the transcendental beauty of our universe.
Each area of work supports me to accomplish my very simple career and life objective—to make the world more beautiful—one piece at a time…
